Torchwood
Torchwood - BBC
I like watching Torchwood. John Barrowman resembles Tom Cruise! Torchwood explores darker issues than Dr. Who.

Hotel Babylon
Hotel Babylon Series 2 Episode 1 Clip
The receptionists in hotels in Hong Kong don't seem to have any smile on their face. They are bored. Hotel Babylon is fun to watch because the characters are dramatized. Or is it just the cultural difference? Anyway, I like to work with fun people. They are good people in Hotel Babylon though sometimes people mess things up.

The Amazing Race 9
I can summarize what it takes to win the Amazing Race.
1) Good teamwork: trust each other
2) Act calmly
3) Able to read maps
4) Able to drive all kinds of cars
5) Run fast
6) Speaking different languages is an edge
7) Physically strong
8) Not afraid of heights. You may find yourself rappeling down a building!
9) Last but not least, being lucky!
It's fun to travel around the world with a partner. I like observing how people work as teams. There's so much to learn!

Black humour, Help Me Help You (2006)
Help Me Help You (2006) is an American TV drama about a group therapy. Every episode it explores a certain aspect of the clients. They have positive attitudes and are fun to watch. The pace of the story-telling is quick. You may feel recharged.

Agatha Christie's Marple - Season 2 Episode 4 - The Sittaford Mystery
"Miss Jane Marple is a guest at Sittaford House, a lonely mansion on the moors, when a blizzard descends on the already isolated village of Sittaford. The owner. Clive Trevelyan, an eminent politician tapped to be the next Prime Minister, insists on spending the night at the Three Crowns Inn in Exhampton, six miles away, much to the puzzlement of his best friend Enderby.
A long evening trapped indoors as a result of the snow begins to take a sinister turn when a box of Turkish delight meant for Trevelyan is found to be poisoned and a ouija board spells out that he will be murdered that night.
The ouija board is proved correct when Trevelyan is found dead in his room with a knife in his chest and a mysterious smile on his face. Jim Pearson, Trevelyan's alcoholic nephew, is the main suspect. His feisty fiancée Emily is determined to prove his innocence and, aided by both eager journalist Charles Burnaby and Miss Marple, they set about piecing together the mysterious events of that night, which involve a secret marriage, Winston Churchill, an escaped convict and a priceless Egyptian artifact...
Star Geraldine McEwan is joined by yet another stellar cast, including former 'James Bond' Timothy Dalton, James Wilby, Laurence Fox, Rita Tushingham, Carey Mulligan Matthew Kelly, Michael Brandon, Zoe Telford, James Murray and Robert Hardy. "
---from http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/mystery/sittaford/index.html
I have to watch it twice to understand the plot. It is difficult to tell the whole story within the two-hour programme. I love the costume and makeup of 50's. It's gorgeous.

Agatha Christie's Marple and Poirot
A series of Agatha Christie's Marple TV drama is now on air.
Agatha Christie's Marple Trailer
I've watched quite a number of stories:
- The Murder at the Vicarage
- Death on the Nile
- Sad Cypress
- The Body in the Library
- The Moving Finger
- The Hollow / Murder After Hours
- A Murder is Announced
- 4:50 from Paddington
- By the Pricking of My Thumbs
- Sleeping Murder
Mr Poirot's accent is interesting and Miss Marple's appearance is so funny! The background music is lovely too.
Although the series was shot from 2005, the producer created an atmosphere as if it were shot in the early 50s.
The make up of the actresses were superb. I like their hair and lip colour.
Highly recommended for British culture fans!

BA
Watched Music & Lyrics (2007). It's a cheesy story.
In Garfield (2004), the main character is proposing to his girlfriend. The the bell boy helped him to make things right. The scene is funny because the bell boy said, "That makes you Hugh Grant."
And then with more tips, he said, "Ah ha! That's Cary Grant!"
Saw a DVD (£12.99) which includes 4 movies of Cary Grant. It also starred Katherine Hepburn.

I watched a number of Cary Grant movies: North by Northwest (1959), Notorious (1946), His Girl Friday (1940), An Affair to Remember (1957) and Walk, Don't Run (1966). He's really a legend.
North by Northwest (1959) Trailer
I started noticing his movies from An Affair to Remember. And I read the talent files included in DVD.
An Affair to Remember (1957) Trailer
Walk, Don't Run was his last motion picture. The movie was very hilarious. It was said that this was the only movie which he didn't get the girl. Interesting, huh?

Motion Pictures - Over the Hedge (2006)
I've just finished watching Over the Hedge (2006) DVD. It's cool! There are raccoon, turtle, opossums, skunk and hedgehogs. Turtles are always mistaken as amphibian but they are actually reptile.
It's like taking a biology lesson.
You can't image how many people's work are needed to finish just a shot. From story script, character design to CGs, they all need a lot of effort to complete.
Enjoy the show! Party animals!
