How many of these have you heard of?

AFI's America's Greatest Movies

So, I'll quote the top ten of American Film Institute's list of 100 Greates Movies.

1) Citizen Kane (1941)

2) Casablanca (1942)
3) The Godfather (1972)
4) Gone with the Wind (1939)
5) Lawrence of Arabia (1962)
6) The Wizard of Oz (1939, it is said that the red shoe was originally a silver one in the book; but for a better visual effect in the movie, it is changed to red)
7) The Graduate (1967)
8) On The Waterfront (1954)
9) Schindler's List (1993)
10) Singin' in The Rain (1952)
I have watched all the above movies except for Citizen Kane, Lawrence of Arabia and the Graduate.
I really want to watch Cary Grant's To Catch a Thief, Monkey Business, The Philadelphia Story and the Holiday.

Agatha Christie's Marple and Poirot

A series of Agatha Christie's Marple TV drama is now on air.

Agatha Christie's Marple Trailer

I've watched quite a number of stories:
- The Murder at the Vicarage
- Death on the Nile
- Sad Cypress
- The Body in the Library
- The Moving Finger
- The Hollow / Murder After Hours
- A Murder is Announced
- 4:50 from Paddington
- By the Pricking of My Thumbs
- Sleeping Murder

Mr Poirot's accent is interesting and Miss Marple's appearance is so funny! The background music is lovely too.
Although the series was shot from 2005, the producer created an atmosphere as if it were shot in the early 50s.
The make up of the actresses were superb. I like their hair and lip colour.
Highly recommended for British culture fans!
